From 2001-2007 they were serving in the Philippines where their work included training local church teams for open-air evangelism and training national trainers to teach seminars themselves.

In 2006 they had the privilege of introducing the ministry to Nepal for the first time. Annual visits are made to further equip local churches for public evangelism and to train trainers to train others.

Winsome is the Office Manager and works part-time at the SOWERS office in Tauranga and John’s role is Regional Director for Asia, which involves oversight and supervision as well as periodic trips to Asian countries.
